*Dental Assistant Level I or II - Unionville, ON Our client, a very busy dental office near Kennedy and Hwy 7, is currently seeking a Dental Assistant Level I or II . The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated to patient care. DENTAL ASSISTANT JOB OVERVIEW: - Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials - Assisting dentist with crowns/bridges, surgical and implant procedures, digital x-rays- Cerec and Primescan technologies - Preparing patients, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays and preparing materials - Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures - Applying topical anesthetic to patients' mouths - Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference - Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: - Dental Assistant Level I or II - 2 years experience - MUST be able to work in a fast-paced environment - MUST be highly organized and a quick learner - Good command of the english language - Dentrix experience an asset ​​​ HOURS: - Tuesdays 9-5 - Wednesdays 12-8 - Thursdays 11-7 - Fridays 8-4 - Saturdays 8-2 COMPENSATION: - $24-$30 depending on experience - Continuing education - Laser certification training for dental hygienists - CPR - Free parking available on site - Flexibile with vacation time ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED
