*Dental Assistant Level II (NDAEB) - Thornhill, ON NO WEEKENDS! Dental office in Thornhill is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant Level II. POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Experienced Certified Dental Assistant Level II (require NDAEB certification) - Prefer 1+ year of experience LOCATION : Bathurst/Hwy 7 (free parking) HOURS : This is a full-time position with some flexibility with days and hours - Monday (arrive 9:45-6) - Tuesday (arrive 11:45-8) - Wednesday (arrive 7:45-5) - Thursday (arrive 11:45-8) - Friday (arrive 7:45-3) COMPENSATION: $25-33+ ​depending on experience and performance - Offer competitive compensation and benefits. RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will work alongside other dental assistant to: - assist the dentist during dental procedures - prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - take digital dental x-rays - take digital impressions using the iTero scanner (training provided) - take alginate impressions from time to time as required - educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care SKILLS: - proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures - experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - familiarity with digital impressions is an asset - familiarity with Tracker preferred but training provided - excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills.
